Form 2L – Planning Civil Bill

This Civil Bill initiates proceedings in the Circuit Court where a Plaintiff wishes to appeal a planning authority decision under section 97 of the Planning and Development Act 2000. The form requires the Plaintiff to annex both the statutory declaration made under section 97(5) and the written notice of refusal issued by the planning authority under section 97(13). The Defendant must enter an Appearance within ten days and, if defending the matter, file a Defence. The Civil Bill sets out the particulars of the appeal and the reliefs sought.
